Our Team

Drew Bontrager is the Lead Pastor of Lakeview, a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church. Drew, along with his wife Courtney, began leading Lakeview in August of 2022. Drew has earned a bachelor’s in Pastoral Studies from North Central University and a master’s of Theology from Bethel Seminary and previous to serving as the lead pastor of Lakeview, he served at Lakeview for eight years as the Executive Pastor of Ministries. Prior to Lakeview, he served for four years as an Associate Pastor at High Point Church in Minnesota. The desire of Drew and Courtney is to the lead the church in reaching those away from God, growing in faith and living in God’s purpose. They love helping people take their next steps in their journey towards becoming more like Christ. Drew and Courtney have been married since 2010 and have two fun-loving kids, Andre and Zara. In their free time, they enjoy working out, eating good food, playing outdoors, and spending time with their family.

Pastor Courtney Bontrager has a bachelor’s in Psychology from North Central University and a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University. She served the community as a counselor in schools, homes, and outpatient settings for eight years and also as an elementary school teacher for four years. She joined the Lakeview team in 2020. Currently, Courtney provides leadership for Next Steps, Lakeview Sisters, as well as teaching and preaching in multiple environments. For fun, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, walking, and reading. Her life purpose is to be used by God to heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds.
